Individual
Ordinary Member

An Individual Ordinary Membership is opened to any Malaysian citizen aged above 18 years old, who works or resides in Malaysia and who is interested in promoting the objectives of the Association.

Corporate
Member

Corporate Member is opened to companies, businesses or organizations which are registered in Malaysia. A Corporate Member shall be represented by a duly dominated director or officer from the company or organization.

Associate
Member

An Associate Member is any other Malaysian citizen, company, business or organization, not entitled to become an Individual Ordinary Member or Corporate Member. An Associate Member enjoys all rights and privileges of an Ordinary or Corporate Member but may not be elected to the Executive Committee.

Life
Member

An Individual Ordinary Member or Corporate Member, who has rendered contributions to the Association, may be invited by the Executive Committee to become a Life Member. An Individual Ordinary Member or Corporate Member may apply to become a Life Member upon payment of a one-off lump-sum payment, as the Executive Committee may determine, to the Association

Obligations

All Members shall abide by the Constitution and not act in any way inconsistent with its objectives
Individual Ordinary Members, Corporate Members and Life Members will have the same obligations and be entitled to the same privileges of the Association including voting rights. Each Individual Ordinary, Corporate or Life Member is entitled to one vote only.
Associate Members shall have the same obligations and privileges but do not have voting rights.
All Members are expected to take an active interest in the Association's activities.

Fees and Dues

There shall be an Entrance Fee of RM 50 (Ringgit Malaysia Fifty Only) for the Individual Ordinary Member, Corporate Member and Associate Member.

The Annual Subscription shall be as follows:
1. Individual Ordinary Member - RM 50.00 (Ringgit Fifty only)
2. Corporate Member - RM 100.00 (Ringgit One hundred only)
3. Associate Member - RM 100.00 (Ringgit One hundred only)
All Entrance Fees and Annual Subscription shall be paid to the Treasurer of the Association before 30th January of every year. The Annual Subscription shall be halved if the Member joined the Association on or after 1st July of the year.
Members whose Annual Subscriptions are in arrears for two years shall receive a written notification signed by or on behalf of the Secretary General. These members shall be denied all the privileges of the Association as long as their subscriptions are in arrears.
Any member who allows the arrears to exceed 2 years' Annual Subscription shall automatically cease to be a member of the Association and the name may, with the approval of the Executive Committee, be removed from the Association's Register of Members. Without prejudice to the rights and remedies of the Association, to recover any debts owing to the Association.
The Exco Committee shall have the power to fix a re-admission fee for any applicant who has allowed the membership to lapse through arrears.
Special subscriptions or levies for particular purposes may be raised from members by resolution of the General Meeting of the Association. If any member fails to pay such subscription within such period as may be resolved, the amount due shall be treated in the same way as arrears of Annual Subscription.
The Exco Committee, with the approval from the Registrar of Societies, Malaysia may increase or reduce the Entrance Fees and the Annual Subscription of any Member according to the circumstances prevailing.
